DoubleTree by Hilton Utica

A beautiful old hotel with history. Room layouts are a bit unusual, due to having been built during the late belle epoque. Older design conventions give it some charm though, a window into the past. Staff is super friendly and the hotel. Itself is impeccably kept. Highly recommend. Just keep in mind the TV is somewhat far away from the bed due to the longer rooms.

This is an incredible place,service was exceptional,was able to check in early to accommodate getting to a wedding on time.Rooms were very modern,clean and spacious.Staff were very accommodating and the history and beauty of the building were incredible. Amazing views of downtown Utica. Only downside was that blocks of rooms were booked months and months in advance but the rooms were scattered over several floors.Also no complimentary breakfast which is a bummer for the price. Also this place is legitimately haunted which is cool of your into that sort of thing.

I have been on a long term stay with this hotel for over two months. My stay has been exceptional. Customer service is impeccable. Matt, Sam, Jose', and Ann-Marie have gone above and beyond to make my stay awesome. Cleaning staff also have shown expert knowledge, and have always been accommodating as quickly an efficiently as possible. The history in this hotel is amazing to. This is definitely a go to place to lay your head in UTICA NY

I appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback on my recent stay at the Hilton property. While I have consistently enjoyed staying at this particular hotel, there were notable issues during my most recent visit that I believe warrant attention: 1. Despite selecting a room via the app 24 hours in advance, there was a last-minute change upon my arrival. 2. The initial state of the bathroom was unsatisfactory, emitting an ammonia/pee odor that eventually dissipated after ventilation. 3. Excessive dust under the bed led to persistent sneezing, highlighting cleanliness concerns. 4. Encountering a substantial amount of broken glass in the elevator on my second day posed a safety risk. These issues have given me pause, especially as I consider booking with Hilton Grand Vacations for an upcoming family vacation. While the facility itself is impressive and well-located, improvements in management are crucial, particularly for loyal customers. Unfortunately, I was unable to attach pictures to illustrate these concerns.
